Dear Our Saviour’s Family,

There is a lot to be excited about at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Every week, people gather for worship, children and young people grow in faith, music fills our worship spaces, people find friendship and community, and our pastors and ministries walk alongside people through some of the most important moments of their lives. Beyond our walls, we serve our neighbors, care for people in need, build relationships throughout our community, and share the love of Christ in tangible ways. In all of it, we see our theme for this year coming to life: God Works. God works in the Word. God works in us. God works in the world.

Stewardship is part of that story. Generosity begins not with what God wants from us, but with what God has already given to us. Everything we do is a response to God who has loved us, claimed us, and called us into this life together. Our giving is one of the ways we participate in what God is doing.

It’s possible that your family gives to Our Saviour’s but that you haven’t had a chance to fill out a pledge card in the past. Pledges, whatever their size, help us plan faithfully for our ministry and represent something even deeper: your decision to participate in what God is doing through this church. 

Stewardship is about more than what we give financially. It is also about the life we share. This year’s pledge card includes an opportunity to let us know if you would like to become more connected at Our Saviour’s. You do not need to know exactly what that looks like. Maybe you are ready to serve, meet some new people through small groups, explore a ministry or mission, or simply find your place here. If you would like to take the next step, we would love to help you find it. And if financial giving is difficult right now, please know that your place in this community has never depended upon the size of a financial gift. There is much ahead of us. In 2027, Our Saviour’s will celebrate 70 years of ministry, and we are already looking toward what God is calling us to do next. We are investing in vibrant worship, children and youth, deeper care and connection, service throughout our community, and the ministries that will carry Our Saviour’s into its next generation. There are people who have not yet walked through our doors who will discover here that they are loved by God and that there is a community where they belong.
