  • “Cape”-able for Christ: Heroic Acts that Empower,”  Variety Show

    Sunday, April 12, 4pm, Celebration Campus

    From serious to silly, polished to perfectly imperfect, this variety show celebrates the truth that every gift matters and every voice belongs. Inspired by Jesus’ words in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me…” this fundraiser invites our congregation to encourage, celebrate, and invest in the next generation!


    Have a gift to share? OSLC members of ALL ages are invited to perform and share their variety show act!

    ($50/max per family and free to performers).

    Raffle Tickets: $1/each or 15 for $10

    All tickets sold at the event. Come ready for fun, raffle prizes, and a showcase of the variety of gifts God has given us! All proceeds will support our summer youth mission trips to Slovakia and Milwaukee, WI.

    Saturday, May 9, from 10am-2pm may be the Plant Sale, but orders are due on Thursday, April 9. These beautiful plants come fully grown and ready for your garden. All proceeds support our mission partners in Mozambique. Order here.


  • Listening for the Spirit: new synod bishop

    As the Metro Chicago Synod prepares to elect our next bishop at our Synod Assembly June 5-6, we are listening together for how the Holy Spirit is guiding our church in this next season. Members of ELCA congregations across the Synod are invited to share their insight about the leadership gifts our Synod needs now. Your reflections will help shape

    the Synod’s discernment, guide those considering a call to serve as bishop, and support voting members as they prayerfully prepare for the election.

    Responses due: April 10

    Open to all members of ELCA congregations in the Metro Chicago Synod.

  • VBS 2026 | JUst like me

    June 22–26, 9:00am–12:00pm at the Our Saviour’s campus for ages 4 through incoming 5th grade. Cost is $50 per child (scholarships available). Participant Registration. Volunteer Registration.


    JUST like Me is an inclusive VBS where kids celebrate being God’s beloved creations, just as they are. Through stories, hands-on activities, and community-building fun, children will grow in faith, confidence, and courage as they come to know Jesus and make Jesus known.


    We’ll celebrate the week together in worship on Sunday, June 28, at 11:00am. We can’t wait for a joyful, welcoming week together!

    Tuesday, April 28, 7 pm, Our Saviour's Campus virtual event. Our Saviour’s is honored to be one of the host sites for this celebration. We invite you to join us for this meaningful evening of worship as we gather with Christians around the world in this shared tradition. Come experience the beauty of Holden Evening Prayer and be part of a global chorus of faith. 

    During the week of April 26, 2026, congregations and small gatherings across the globe will sing the same prayers and songs, connecting in spirit even across great distances. Through music, prayer, and reflection, we join a worldwide community lifting prayers for peace, justice, and renewal.
