Baby Care is a year-round mission of Our Saviour’s that serves underresourced families locally and globally. In September 2024, as part of "God's Work, Our Hands" Sunday, Our Saviour's assembled more than 481 care kits for distribution to families in need through Lutheran World Relief. Baby Care relies on the donation of baby blankets, like-new baby clothing items and monetary gifts. Interested in making a monetary donation to support the Baby Care Ministry? Click here.
Locally, Baby Care works with partners such as Bugagoo Consign, Rhea Lane Consignment, Family Shelter Resale and Our Saviour's Refugee Ministry to provide essentials for babies ages 6 months-2 years.
Summer 2025: Baby Care is looking to collect 200 more lightweight jackets/hoodies to be bundled into infant-care kits on Care Kit Assembly Day this September. Please donate new or gently used jackets/hoodies in sizes 6M through 2T in the Baby Care crib inside Nelson-Niemi Fellowship Hall at the Our Saviour's Campus.
Quilts will be bundled with other newborn essentials and distributed through Lutheran World Relief.
